As part of our efforts to fight hunger during the lockdown imposed during Covid 19 Pandemic, we distributed over 2,00,000 meals in the form of dry ration kits to the underprivileged and marginalised communities in the early months of 2021. Each dry ration kit was prepared to feed a family of 4 for over 3 days.
This goal was achieved though a combination of crowdfunding and collaborations with other non-profit organisations. We’d especially like to thank Simple Education Foundation for their support. We also lent a hand and reached out to other non profit organisations in need to support, providing meals to children living in orphanages, transgender women etc.
This initiative has been our source of building a sustainable relationship with women in urban slums by aiding their families and loved ones.
